It is no coincidence that Hispanic voters have gravitated increasingly to conservative candidates and causes in recent years. Statistically, Spanish-speaking Americans exhibit strong religious faith, commitment to the traditional family, a mistrust of government, and a commitment to hard work. All of these attitudes are indicators of a conservative world-view.
Americas Majority has developed and/or acquired broadcast paradigms with a proven track record of attracting Hispanic citizens to conservative causes.

Gaby:
On “Meet the Press,” Barak Obama suggested that the America should threaten to withdraw from NAFTA, our trade agreement with our neighbors to the north and south.
Does Senator Obama understand what would happen to U.S. agriculture if the United States dropped out? Does he understand how it would affect Hispanic employment?
Saul:
42 percent of all American workers in farming, fishing and forestry are Latinos. Mexico is our number one export market for beef, rice, soybean meal, apples, and edible beans. It is the second largest customer for our corn and soybeans, and third for pork, poultry and eggs. Together, Canada and Mexico buy 30% of America’s farm exports.
Gaby:
Call Senator Obama. Tell him that before he reforms our trade laws, he’d better take the time to understand them.

Ivan:
This year, some politicians of both parties stood up for comprehensive immigration reform. This is no trivial thing. The lives of some 7 million undocumented workers, and their families, hang in the balance. Without comprehensive reform, decent, hardworking people can be treated as criminals.
President Bush and Senator Kennedy worked out a plan to provide a safe haven for immigrants, and a safe border for all. But some senators played political games. They undermined the delicate compromise with amendments, saying that they wanted something better.
In the last crucial days of the immigration debate, Senator Barak Obama broke with Senator Ted Kennedy, and voted for amendments that could kill the bill he said he supported.
Gaby:
Call Senator Obama. Tell him that we need comprehensive immigration reform now – not delays that endanger millions of Latinos.

These nations now tax their corporations at a lower rate than those in the United States.
No wonder so many companies are shifting jobs overseas!
How can our companies afford good wages if our government penalizes them for doing business on American soil?
Call Barak Obama. Tell him that we must cut taxes on American businesses, large and small, not raise them!
